Rate ratio

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009947

A measure of association that compares the incidence rate of an event in an exposed group to the incidence rate in an unexposed group. This ratio quantifies how many times more or less likely an event is in the exposed group relative to the unexposed group. A rate ratio of 1 indicates no difference in rates between the groups.
