Mass ratio
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006989
The quotient obtained by dividing the mass of one component by the mass of another component in a mixture or solution. This dimensionless quantity provides a direct comparison of the relative amounts of two substances. For solubility, it often compares the mass of solute to the mass of solvent.
