Derived kind of quantity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003048

A type of quantity that is defined in terms of base kinds of quantities through algebraic equations. These quantities are not considered fundamental but are conceptual constructs built upon the basic dimensions of a system. Examples include area (length squared) or velocity (length divided by time).
