Duplicate samples

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003478

Two separate samples taken from the same source under identical conditions, intended to be indistinguishable from each other. They are processed and analyzed independently to assess the precision and consistency of an analytical method and the laboratory's performance. The variability between the results is quantified using metrics such as the relative percent difference, which provides a measure of analytical reproducibility.
