Electric mobility

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003635

The proportionality constant between the drift velocity of a charged particle in a medium and the applied electric field strength. It quantifies how readily a charged species moves through a fluid under the influence of an electric field. The SI unit for electric mobility is square meters per volt-second (m^2 V^-1 s^-1).
