Electrophoretic velocity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003784

The speed at which a charged particle or molecule migrates through a fluid under the influence of an applied electric field. This velocity is directly proportional to the electric field strength and the electrophoretic mobility of the species. It is typically expressed in units of meters per second.
