Microscopic electrophoresis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007357

A technique used to observe the movement of individual colloidal particles or biological cells in an electric field. This method allows for the direct measurement of electrophoretic velocity, which is then used to calculate the electrophoretic mobility and zeta potential of the particles. The measurements are typically performed using a microscope equipped with a camera and a specialized electrophoresis cell.
