Electrokinetic injection
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003688
A method for introducing a sample into a capillary electrophoresis system by applying an electric field across the capillary inlet. This causes charged analytes to migrate into the capillary due to both electrophoretic mobility and electroosmotic flow. The amount of sample injected depends on the applied voltage, injection time, and analyte mobility.
