Capillary isotachophoresis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001608
A separation technique in capillary electrophoresis where analytes migrate in a discontinuous buffer system, forming adjacent zones of pure components that move at the same velocity. The separation occurs based on differences in electrophoretic mobility, with each zone having a constant concentration determined by the leading electrolyte. This method is often used for sample preconcentration and separation of ionic species.
