Capillary gel electrophoresis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001606
A separation technique within capillary electrophoresis where the capillary is filled with a polymeric gel matrix. This gel acts as a molecular sieve, separating analytes primarily by size, similar to slab gel electrophoresis. It is widely applied for the analysis of macromolecules like DNA, RNA, and proteins.
