Capillary electrophoresis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001605

A separation technique that uses an electric field to separate ions based on their electrophoretic mobility within a narrow capillary tube. Components migrate at different speeds due to differences in charge-to-size ratio, leading to their separation. This method offers high separation efficiency and is suitable for small sample volumes.
