Hydrodynamic injection
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005463
A method of introducing a sample into a capillary electrophoresis system by applying a pressure difference across the capillary inlet. This pressure drives a small volume of sample into the capillary, where it then undergoes electrophoretic separation. The amount of sample injected is proportional to the applied pressure and the duration of the injection.
