Hydrodynamic chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005462
A separation technique for macromolecules and particles based on their size in a flowing liquid within a narrow tube or column. Larger particles travel faster through the center of the flow stream, while smaller particles spend more time in the slower-moving regions near the column walls. This method is typically used for particles ranging from tens of nanometers to several micrometers.
