Exclusion chromatography

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004200

A chromatographic technique that separates molecules based primarily on their size and shape. Molecules are passed through a porous stationary phase, and larger molecules are excluded from the pores, eluting faster than smaller molecules that can penetrate the pores. This method is widely used for the separation of polymers, proteins, and other macromolecules.
