Partition chromatography

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008518

A chromatographic technique where separation of analytes occurs primarily based on their differential partitioning between a stationary liquid phase and a mobile phase. The stationary phase is typically coated onto a solid support or bonded to it. This method is widely used for separating organic compounds, with gas-liquid and liquid-liquid chromatography being common examples.
