Liquid-coated stationary phase

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006686

A type of stationary phase in chromatography where a thin layer of an organic liquid is adsorbed or chemically bonded onto the surface of a solid support material. This liquid layer acts as the partitioning medium for analytes. It is commonly used in gas chromatography and liquid-liquid partition chromatography.
