Bonded phase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001423
A stationary phase in chromatography where the active functional groups are chemically attached to the surface of a solid support material, typically silica. This chemical bonding provides enhanced stability and reproducibility compared to physically adsorbed phases. Common examples include C18 and C8 phases used in reversed-phase chromatography.
