Immobilized stationary phase

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005633

A stationary phase in chromatography that is chemically bonded to the support material or the inner wall of the column. This chemical attachment prevents the stationary phase from being washed away by the mobile phase, even with strong solvents. Such phases offer enhanced stability and reproducibility compared to physically coated stationary phases.
