Gas-liquid chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004766
A specific type of gas chromatography where the stationary phase is a non-volatile liquid coated on a solid support or the inner wall of a capillary column. Separation of volatile analytes occurs primarily through differences in their partitioning coefficients between the gaseous mobile phase and the liquid stationary phase. This technique is widely used for separating and analyzing organic compounds.
