Column chromatography

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002256

A chromatographic separation technique where the stationary phase is packed into a column, and the mobile phase flows through it. Components of a mixture are separated as they move at different rates down the column due to varying affinities for the stationary phase. This method is widely used for purification and analysis in both preparative and analytical scales.
