Thermal injection

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011945

The process of introducing charge carriers into a polymer material by applying thermal energy, typically through heating. This energy overcomes the activation barrier for charge injection from electrodes or within the material itself. Thermal injection is relevant in the operation of organic electronic devices, influencing their conductivity and performance.
