Thermal history

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011944

The complete record of temperature changes experienced by a polymer sample from its synthesis through processing and subsequent use. This includes the specific temperatures, heating and cooling rates, and the duration at each temperature. The thermal history significantly influences the morphology, crystallinity, and ultimately the mechanical and physical properties of the polymer material.
