Thermodiffractometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011961
A thermal analysis technique that combines X-ray diffraction or neutron diffraction with controlled temperature programming. It allows for the in-situ study of structural changes, phase transitions, and thermal expansion of materials as a function of temperature. This method provides direct information on crystal structure evolution during heating or cooling.
