Diffraction analysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003183

A technique that examines the diffraction patterns produced when waves interact with a material to determine its atomic or molecular structure. This method is widely applied in chemistry and materials science to identify crystalline phases, measure lattice parameters, and analyze defects. X-ray diffraction is a common form of this analysis.
