Transmission high energy electron diffraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012253
A technique used to study the crystal structure of thin films and surfaces by observing the diffraction pattern produced when a high-energy electron beam passes through a sample. The electrons interact with the periodic arrangement of atoms, creating a pattern of spots or rings on a detector. This method provides information about lattice parameters, crystal orientation, and defects in crystalline materials.
