X-ray analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012752
A broad category of analytical techniques that employ X-rays to investigate the elemental composition, crystal structure, or physical properties of materials. These methods involve the interaction of X-rays with a sample, leading to phenomena such as absorption, fluorescence, or diffraction. Common techniques include X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy.
