Atomic spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000904
A broad category of analytical techniques that study the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with atoms to determine elemental composition and concentration. These methods rely on the unique absorption, emission, or fluorescence spectra produced by atoms. Common techniques include atomic absorption, atomic emission, and atomic fluorescence spectroscopy.
