Thermodilatometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011962
A thermal analysis technique that measures the change in the dimensions of a substance as a function of temperature. This method is used to determine coefficients of thermal expansion, phase transitions, and softening points of materials. The measurement typically involves monitoring linear or volumetric expansion.
