Cooling curve

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002551

A graphical representation showing the temperature of a substance as a function of time as it cools. The curve typically exhibits plateaus or changes in slope at temperatures where phase transitions, such as freezing or crystallization, occur. This technique is used in thermal analysis to identify phase transition temperatures and study material properties.
