Current-potential curve

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002798

A graphical representation showing the relationship between the current flowing through an electrochemical cell and the potential applied across its electrodes. This curve provides information about the kinetics and thermodynamics of electrochemical reactions occurring at the electrode surface. It is a fundamental plot in voltammetry and other electrochemical techniques.
