AC voltammetry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000090

An electrochemical technique where a small-amplitude alternating current (AC) potential is superimposed on a slowly varying direct current (DC) potential applied to an electrode. The resulting AC current response is measured as a function of the DC potential. This method provides enhanced sensitivity for detecting redox processes compared to conventional DC voltammetry.
