DC polarography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002876
A voltammetric technique that measures the current flowing through an electrochemical cell as a function of a linearly varying direct current potential applied to a dropping mercury electrode. The current-potential curve, known as a polarogram, provides qualitative and quantitative information about electroactive species in solution. The Ilkovič equation describes the diffusion-limited current in this method.
