Voltammetry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012610

An electrochemical analytical technique that measures the current as a function of applied potential in an electrochemical cell. The potential is varied in a controlled manner, and the resulting current provides information about the concentration and identity of electroactive species. This method is widely used for quantitative analysis and mechanistic studies of redox reactions.
