Summit potential
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011584
The potential at which the maximum current is observed in a polarographic or voltammetric experiment, particularly in alternating current (AC) polarography. It corresponds to the peak of the AC current response. This potential is characteristic of the electroactive species undergoing reduction or oxidation at the electrode surface.
