Summit current
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011583
The maximum current observed in a polarographic or voltammetric curve, particularly in techniques like differential pulse voltammetry or square wave voltammetry. This peak current is directly proportional to the concentration of the analyte under specific experimental conditions. It is a key parameter used for quantitative analysis in electrochemistry.
