Wave height

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012648

The maximum current observed in a polarographic or voltammetric wave, measured from the baseline to the peak or plateau of the wave. This height is directly proportional to the concentration of the electroactive species under controlled conditions. It is a key parameter used for quantitative analysis in electroanalytical chemistry.
