Peak height
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008569
The maximum vertical distance from the peak maximum to the baseline of a chromatographic or spectral peak. This measurement is proportional to the concentration of the analyte, especially for narrow, symmetrical peaks. It is often used for quantitative analysis, particularly when peak areas are difficult to determine accurately due to peak overlap.
