Step height
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011359
The vertical distance between two adjacent plateaus on a chromatogram, representing the change in detector response as a component elutes. This measurement is used in quantitative analysis to determine the amount of a substance present in a sample. It is typically measured from the baseline to the top of the step.
