Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003658
A powerful electrochemical technique that measures the impedance of an electrochemical system over a range of frequencies. It applies a small amplitude alternating current (AC) potential perturbation to an electrode and measures the resulting AC current. The data is typically presented as Nyquist or Bode plots, providing insights into electrode kinetics, mass transport, and surface properties.
