Partial kinetic current
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008489
The component of the total current at an electrode that is limited by the rate of a chemical reaction occurring either on the electrode surface or in the solution adjacent to it. This current is distinct from diffusion-limited currents, which are controlled by mass transport. It provides information about the kinetics of the electrochemical process.
