Partial kill

The reduction in the population of organisms or cells, but not their complete eradication, following exposure to a toxic agent or treatment. This outcome indicates that some individuals survived the exposure, often due to varying sensitivities or insufficient dosage. It is a common observation in ecotoxicological studies and pest control.
