Partial molar quantity

The change in an extensive thermodynamic property of a solution per mole of a specific component added, while keeping the temperature, pressure, and the amounts of all other components constant. This quantity describes how the property of the mixture changes with the composition. Examples include partial molar volume and partial molar enthalpy.
