Partial anodic current
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008478
The component of the total current flowing across an electrode-electrolyte interface that is associated with oxidation reactions. This current represents the rate of electron transfer from species in the electrolyte to the electrode. It is balanced by a corresponding partial cathodic current in a net electrochemical process.
