Crystallinity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002763
The degree to which a polymer material possesses an ordered, repeating molecular structure, as opposed to an amorphous, disordered arrangement. It is expressed as a percentage or fraction of the total material volume that is crystalline. This property significantly impacts the mechanical, thermal, and optical characteristics of a polymer.
