Injection temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005875
The temperature at which a sample is introduced into a chromatographic system, typically into the injector port of a gas chromatograph. This temperature must be high enough to rapidly vaporize the sample components without causing thermal degradation. For many organic compounds, injection temperatures range from 200 °C to 300 °C.
