Injection temperature
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-006556
The temperature at which a substance is introduced into another medium or system, often referring to the release of gases or aerosols into the atmosphere. This parameter influences the dispersion, chemical reactions, and ultimate fate of the injected material. For instance, the temperature of volcanic ash injected into the stratosphere affects its residence time and radiative properties.
