Direct-injection enthalpimetry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003267

A thermometric analytical technique where a reagent is rapidly injected into a sample solution, and the resulting temperature change due to the heat of reaction is measured. The magnitude of the temperature change is proportional to the extent of the reaction. This method is used for quantitative analysis and reaction monitoring.
