Continuous flow enthalpimetry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002495
A thermometric analytical technique where the enthalpy change of a chemical reaction is measured in a continuously flowing stream. Reactants are mixed in a flow cell, and the temperature change resulting from the reaction is monitored as a function of time or position. This method is often used for rapid, automated analyses.
