Continuous-flow fast atom bombardment

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002505

A variant of fast atom bombardment (FAB) mass spectrometry where the sample is continuously introduced into the ion source in a liquid stream. This technique maintains a fresh sample surface for ionization, improving signal stability and sensitivity. It is often coupled with liquid chromatography for online analysis.
