Chromatograph

An instrument used to perform chromatographic separations, consisting of a mobile phase delivery system, a sample injector, a separation column, and a detector. It separates components of a mixture based on their differential partitioning between a stationary phase and a mobile phase. Examples include gas chromatographs and liquid chromatographs.
